World Wildlife Fund (WWF), one of the world's leading conservation organizations, is seeking a Director of Policy and Engagement in the city of La Paz, Bolivia. Required Profile
- Education
- Professional University Degree in a related field such as: anthropology, sociology, environmental sciences, social sciences, political sciences, etc. Master's degree preferred
- Courses and specialization in sustainable development issues, public management, sustainable development, environmental diplomacy, etc.
- Advanced English, spoken and written level at least B2 CEFR (excluding).
- Experience
- Minimum ten years of experience working in governance and public policy related to biodiversity conservation, natural resource management, as well as an understanding of national and international conservation issues and the sustainable use of natural resources and water.
- Good understanding and analytical skills of environmental, social, political and economic problems.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in Spanish and English.
- Broad knowledge of the national context on issues relevant to the work of WWF Bolivia.
