      World Wildlife Fund (WWF), one of the world’s  leading conservation organizations, seeks a Green Finance Officer,  for our office in Bolivia. We are looking to hire a passionate, creative, and  dedicated professional, always willing to push the boundaries, a great team  player, and overall, a good human being, who understands and appreciates the  value of leading by example, especially interested in protecting nature and  collaborating with the private sector to achieve joint goals in favor of nature  and people. 
      The Green Finance Officer will act as a bridge  between financial sector stakeholders and sustainability goals, promoting the  adoption of sustainable finance practices. This role involves promoting the  development of green finance products, enhancing the sector's capacity on  environmental, social, and governance (ESG) issues, and advising on climate  change, biodiversity, and other sustainability-related risks and opportunities.  The officer will build relationships with financial institutions and public  entities, fostering collaboration to drive innovation and alignment with global  sustainability standards while ensuring measurable environmental and social  impact.

      MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS  
              ·  Educational Background:  Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Environmental Studies, or related  fields. Complementary studies in environmental or conservation topics (e.g.,  climate change, ESG criteria, NDCs) are highly desirable. 
      ·  Experience: 
      
        - Essential:       Knowledge and experience in the financial sector.
 
        - Preferred:       Experience in public finance, sustainable finance.
 
       
      ·  Expertise: 
      
        - Strong       understanding of climate change, biodiversity, water, and environmental       issues as business risks/opportunities.
 
        - Familiarity with       global green finance frameworks, regulations, and trends.
 
        - Knowledge of       environmental sustainability standards, climate change, and ESG criteria.
 
       
      ·  Skills: 
      
        - Relationships       with key stakeholders in the financial sector are highly valued.
 
        - Advanced       proficiency in English.
 
        - Proficiency in       data processing, visualization software, and office automation tools.
 
        - Ability to       prioritize tasks, work in dynamic environments, and meet tight deadlines.
 
        - Capacity for       independent and proactive work.
 
        - Excellent oral       and written communication skills.
 
       
      ·  Work Experience: Minimum  of 5 years in banking, finance, or conservation/environmental finance. 
      
        - Areas of       expertise: Private and public banking, investments, financial advisory,       sustainability standards for the financial sector, climate change, NDCs,       public management, carbon finance, and related topics.
