World Wildlife Fund (WWF), one of the world’s leading conservation organizations, seeks a Leader of the Chiquitanía Norte Landscape, for our office in Bolivia. We are looking to hire a passionate, creative, and dedicated professional, always willing to push the boundaries, a great team player, and overall, a good human being, who understands and appreciates the value of leading by example. And especially interested in protecting forests and collaborating with the private sector to achieve joint goals in favor of nature and people.

a. Required Qualifications:
- Substantial experience in managing conservation and sustainable natural resource use issues in Bolivia and the Chiquitano landscape.
- Experience in fostering multi-stakeholder partnerships, business engagement, and policy change.
- Experience with community forests management, especially with indigenous communities in Bolivia.
- Experience managing teams of diverse professionals.
- Degree in Agriculture, Sustainable Development, Business Administration, or other related fields is a plus with at least 10 years of professional experience.
- At least five years of project management experience.
- Fluency or an advanced level in English is required.
b. Required Skills and Competencies:
- Project management (design, proposal development, budgeting, project planning and execution, evaluation, and monitoring).
- Knowledge of the national context related to conservation, environmental and fire issues.
- Experience in managing work teams, how to motivate them and how to achieve better results by integrating individual efforts.
- Experience working with the private sector mainly on environmental and ecosystem conservation issues.
- Proven ability to deliver results with sharp team management.
- Demonstrated experience in building alliances, initiatives or platforms for change that leverage the capacity of partners.
- Evidence of agile proactive thinking combined with an optimistic approach within a realistic framework.
- Strong communications skills (written and oral).
- Self-starter, proactive, excellent communication and networking skills.
- Ability to interact with senior government, business, and NGO leaders.
- Strong team player and internal organizational networker.
- Commitment to nature conservation and sustainable development
- Understanding of the importance of working alongside indigenous peoples and local communities to deliver the best conservation outcomes.
- Knowledge of policies and approaches aimed at safeguarding the rights and well-being of indigenous peoples and local communities.
- Clearly demonstrates behaviors aligned to the culture of WWF: Strive for Impact, Listen Deeply, Collaborate Openly, and Innovate Fearlessly.
