Este libro eval\u00faa el impacto de 20 a\u00f1os de pol\u00edticas urbanas en seis pa\u00edses latinoamericanos: Argentina, Brasil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador y M\u00e9xico. Sostiene que evaluar el cumplimiento de los compromisos pasados es esencial para enmarcar y cumplir los nuevos compromisos asumidos en H\u00e1bitat III. El libro proporciona una evaluaci\u00f3n cr\u00edtica de las consecuencias econ\u00f3micas, sociales y ambientales de las intervenciones urbanas despu\u00e9s de H\u00e1bitat II.
