{"id":1138,"date":"2016-07-06T15:38:59","date_gmt":"2016-07-06T19:38:59","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/cebem.org\/?p=1138"},"modified":"2016-07-06T16:18:18","modified_gmt":"2016-07-06T20:18:18","slug":"paradigm-dynamics-and-the-future-of-capitalism-who-will-win-the-next-cold-war","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cebem.org\/?p=1138","title":{"rendered":"Paradigm Dynamics and The Future of Capitalism: Who Will Win the Next Cold War?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Author:<\/strong> Lucio Mu\u00f1oz (Independent Qualitative Comparative Researcher \/ Consultant, Vancouver, BC, Canada Email: <a href=\"mailto:munoz@interchange.ubc.ca\">munoz@interchange.ubc.ca<\/a>)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Abstract:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The death of Karl Marx\u2019s model in 1991 led to the paradigm shift from red socialism to red capitalism in China and the former soviet bloc republics bringing with it the rise of socially friendly capitalism.\u00a0 The death of Adam Smith\u2019s model formally in 2012 led to the shift from the traditional market to the green market bringing with it the rise of green capitalism. \u00a0So there we have the two new components of the next cold war, red capitalism vrs green capitalism.\u00a0 Therefore, the future paradigm clash will be in the line of environmentally friendly capitalism against socially friendly capitalism and the winner of this clash will define i) the future of capitalist markets; and ii) open the way for\u00a0 the coming of one global socially and environmentally friendly capitalist system, the sustainability market.\u00a0 And this raises the question who will win the next cold war?
